Since this is a public and privately funded project, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our funding. Not only does this create accountability, but it also serves as a point of reference for those who seek to create a project like this in their own community.
Hopefully, our financial record provides insight to the costs of a project, man hours, resources, etc. We don't expect this to be the standard for everyone, especially since the capacity for every project is different. Below is the amount raised and spent in 2015 for the initial Three Points mural and streetscape improvements that began in 2015. As the project has continued, funding has been used to maintain and expand the space. Unfortunately, not all of those transactions have been recorded.
All money is earmarked in a special account by the Schnitzelburg Area Community Council.
